High Performance Campbell Hausfeld PW2770

Are you aware that some pressure washers are designed for average built adults while the rest are primarily tailored to be men’s toy? Well this is the case for the pro grade Campbell Hausfeld PW2770. However, do not be fooled when we used the term “men’s toy” as a brief introduction for this unit. This is the machine that is built to last a long time and it has the most sought after combination of a Honda engine and the CAT triplex pump.

Key Features:
The 2750 PSI Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 is tough enough to handle any challenging tasks for you. It delivers higher cleaning performance which means quicker and more efficient cleaning. This machine is powered by a Honda GX160 commercial grade engine that will always give you a hassle free quick start up. It also has a highly durable industrial grade CAT triplex pump that is fitted with solid ceramic plungers and a high pressure seals to give a much longer lifespan for the pump. Most importantly, it has an all weather proof powder-coated steel welded cart fitted with two 10 inch pneumatic tires that allow you to transport this unit easily regardless of any terrain conditions and the sturdy steel frame cart can also reduce vibration.

The Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 provides convenient on board accessory storage to help the operators to minimize the chance of misplacing the important components. You can keep all spray tips on the accessory tray that is near the handle bar and can store the higher pressure hose and spray gun on the hooks. This machine has a decent fuel tank capacity of approximately 0.83 gallons, this may be smaller than those higher priced pro grade units but since the Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 is priced under 900 bucks, we do think that it’s a good deal. Another feature that we like to emphasize is that this workhorse does not generate irritating noise as we compared other similar PSI units that are not powered by a Honda engine. This is certainly a good catch for anyone who have low noise tolerance or need to use gas pressure washers for prolong hours on daily basis.

The Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 does not have a built in detergent container, so you can forget about the idea of storing soap and dispensing them as you wish. To compensate the absent of this feature, a soap/chemical injector tube is provided and it can draws up to 5 gallons of detergent from a soap container. To allow you to handle more tasks with less stress, this unit also include 5 quick connect nozzle spray tips that can give you variable spray patterns ranging from 0 to 40 degrees and a soap applicator. This unit has a professional grade spray gun with comfortable grip to reduce fatigue. However, it is a bit disappointing that it does not provide a longer pressure hose. Since you are most likely to use the Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 in out doors, we do not think that the included 25 ft high pressure hose is long enough to give you extensive reach especially when you are working on a large project site. Although you can always purchase a 50 ft hose to solve this issue, be prepared to experience a slight drop in the pressure output if you do so. Since this is a 2750 PSI unit, we do believe that there will not be a dramatic drop in the pressure though.

The Campbell Hausfeld PW2770 throws in a generous 3 year product warranty that covers any defects in components or workmanship. Do we recommend this unit to our readers? We certainly will as nothing beats the great value that you can obtain from the pro grade Honda engine and the Cat pump. This unit also has a sweet price tag from Amazon, this definitely makes it easy for skilled homeowners and business operators to get it for their daily cleaning tasks.
